About the Business
I have always been a real foodie and it was never unusual for me to be found in the kitchen experimenting on something to impress friends and family. It wasn't until my daughters 1st birthday that I made my first celebration cake and as much to my surprise as everyone elses, I found a talent I didn't know existed. Cake making swiftly turned into a hobby with friends and family requesting cake favors regularly.
In 2009 I took the plunge and left my job as a computer programmer. I decided to focus on being a mum to my 2 young children and to launch a new business that fitted perfectly around the needs of my family.
After over 4 years of being my own boss, I am now in the enviable position of having one of the happiest jobs in the world. I meet so many lovely people planning happy events and am able to completely indulge my girlie side in terms of flowers, lace, ribbons, beads and anything that sparkles.
