About the Business
Elizabeth began wearing and collecting vintage and antique clothes from a young age. Besotted by her Grandmother's old hand-made dance dresses from the 1940's and 50's and fired up by stars of the fashion and music scene, she opened her first vintage boutique aged just 18.
Elizabeth Avey Vintage Wedding Dresses began in 2008 and immediately struck a chord, becoming a must for brides looking for a special and unique dress that would reflect their personality. As well as a strong reputation for excellent customer care, she quickly established a name for her talent in sourcing the most desirable and exciting vintage wedding dresses imaginable.
With design commissions from Vogue Magazine, features in top Bridal and fashion publications, along with extensive coverage from bridal style blogs, Elizabeth's unique brand of vintage for contemporary fashion continues to add fresh energy to Bridal wear.
