About the Business
I've been making cakes for over 10 years, firstly as a hobby for family and friends, but this has now blossomed into a full blown business. I create everything in my own kitchen at home to ensure that each cake is given the attention that it deserves and comes with the home made charm that you will not find elsewhere. I also have a unique studio space where I can hold one-on-one consultations and you can see examples of my work and sample some of my cake flavours! I am proud to have made it to the final auditions for the 2012 series of the BBC's "The Great British Bake Off" and of the feedback received from both the professionals and, most importantly, from my customers.
Most of my orders come from previous customers or people who have tried my cakes while at parties or events, and it is building these relationships that I work hardest at. I use locally sourced products as much as possible, supporting other small businesses such as myself.
