About the Business

When I photographed my first wedding in 1985 I was, frankly, petrified of the responsibility. I've lost count of the number I've photographed since, but soon after I started out I realised how much I love shooting weddings, so it's become my speciality. I really enjoy using photographs to tell the story of your day, and whether you prefer formal or unposed shots, I'm happy to work with you to get the pictures you want. I'm based near Stoke-on-Trent, so the bulk of my work has taken place around there, but Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Derby and Nottingham are all within easy reach. I have travelled further afield in the past and am happy to work anywhere in the UK or Europe. These days I mostly shoot on digital, but if you have a preference for images shot on film, I can accommodate that too.
