About the Business
Ashfield House is an elegant English country house, standing in its own landscaped grounds, overlooking the Douglas Valley. We are an independent family business. The impressive period features include our original sweeping staircase, beautiful bay windows, ornate columns and panelled library bar. They create a wonderful feeling of elegance, rooted in the building's 150 year heritage.
We have recently undergone a gorgeous renovation with new oak flooring and a bright, airy, neutral decor throughout the downstairs. Externally we have created a beautiful terrace overlooking the gardens. Weddings, private functions, Sunday lunch, conferences and accommodation; all catered for with style and quality.
