About the Business

Lizzie, the founder of Elizabeth Malcolm, knew that she was destined to be in the bridal industry from a very young age. For as long as she can remember Lizzie has been fascinated by fine fabrics, embroidery and couture sewing techniques, fuelling her desire to learn more about the process involved in designing and manufacturing exquisite wedding dresses. For the final year of her Fashion Design degree, Lizzie honed her skills and created her very first collection of bridalwear entitled ‘Putting on the Ritz' heavily influenced by the 1930's style.

Following completion of her degree Lizzie worked at various bridalwear manufacturers and retailers including a leading Central London couture bridalwear designer. Every dress by Elizabeth Malcolm is designed and manufactured in our Derbyshire studio guaranteeing the highest quality and perfect fit.
