About the Business
I absolutely love my job - the challenge of observing people, recording a range of emotions, and putting those images together to narrate a truly special day. I really do consider it an honour to be asked to document my couples' weddings.
I shot my first weddings as favours for friends and family back in the days of film in the early '80s and was my school's resident photojournalist, carrying my Rangefinder Camera with me everywhere and developing all my own work in my home darkroom.
After leaving school and several unsuccessful attempts at getting an apprenticeship with local photographic studios, I settled for several run-of-the-mill jobs before eventually finding myself employed as a reprographic artist & artworker in the print industry. I was then head-hunted by a Leicestershire advertising agency as Head of Creative Services and was eventually promoted to the board as Production Director.
