I've been behind the camera for over ten years now, with arguably the last seven years spent allowing photography to change how I think. It can become an all-consuming passion but it's absolutely worth it. The pic below was me up at 5am to capture a promising sunrise. It might not look it but it was absolutely freezing cold that morning!

Based in Dunfermline I'm ideally situated for wedding photography across Scotland and I'm also lucky to be well located for access to Scotland's beautiful countryside for landscape photography. I'd describe myself as an all rounder though I haven't spent much time photographing wildlife, unless you count my three kids (sorry guys!).

Weddings combine every aspect of photography and are a privilege to be a part of. Photographers are given almost unique access to what is an incredibly special day. I think it's vital to create a rapport with the couple and hopefully that fun and enjoyment transfers to the images. My approach is to provide a majority of contemporary, photojournalist style images, with the rest being the pictures we've planned. I'll only take up a very small amount of time on your big day and I promise we'll have some laughs whilst we take the pictures.

As your wedding photographer I will be one of the first suppliers to arrive and one of the last to leave, with every minute in between dedicated to capturing images you will love. This is your day and it can be all too easily forgotten that the bride and groom are meant to enjoy themselves too!
