About the Business

Pretty Tasty Cake is run by cake designer Sarah Roberts from the purpose-built kitchen in the heart of her family home. Having always being a bit crafty in the kitchen, Sarah began baking in 2003 after receiving two pivotal Christmas gifts - a signed copy of Nigella's "How to be a Domestic Goddess" and a set of digital kitchen scales! Encouraged by glowing feedback (and her family's increasing waistbands!) she felt she had found her creative outlet and what started out as simply making her children's birthday cakes turned into a fully fledged enterprise in 2009. Captivated by all things sweet, flowery and feminine, Sarah quickly began to specialise in wedding cakes and cupcakes and in following the latest austerity trend, she now finds herself obsessed with rustic and vintage styling.
