About the Business
Weddings came soon after, with some of them immediately featured in top UK wedding mags like Confetti and Wedding Ideas. I moved back soon after to cover UK City of Culture at the request of Culture Company, I covered many of the events and had a lot of these featured in local book alongside other photographers, "A Legenderry Year" by Guildhall Press. Reuters, the Daily Mirror, the Derry Journal, Derry News etc also featured work. I'll never forget floating across the city in a hot air balloon, the most surreal assignment I had to date.
Working with one of the top UK portrait photographers for the Turner Campaign was also a highlight. I consider my work contemporary, on trend. I create stories with my lens, use my intuition and experience to capture these stories. I'm not one for herding people, or awkwardly trying to get you to do star jumps or pose in ridiculous situations.
