Sparth House Hotel is a privately owned and operated Grade ll listed manor house built in 1740 with all the majestic splendour of Georgian architecture, set in its own secluded grounds. The interior has been tastefully decorated with a contemporary classical style to enhance the Georgian architectural features, giving it a unique boutique and elegant ambience.

We have individually styled suites and bedrooms, wedding and conference facilities. Sparth House Hotel is perfectly situated on the edge of the Ribble Valley countryside within easy reach of the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland. Close to the near towns of Accrington, Blackburn and Burnley. Nearby there are many historical attractions including Whalley Abbey, Haworth Art Gallery and Clitheroe Castle.

We are open to all from a relaxing morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea in the lounge or dinner in our stylish restaurant.

We had our wedding day here in august 2016 and it was fantastic.Its a beautiful venue with stunning grounds, ideal for your photographs. The staff are all friendly and really helpful from start to finish. The whole day was just amazing with olivia and emma helping to make it such a wonderful wedding experience for us both. All the guests commented on the high standards of the hotels presentation and level of service throughout the day and evening. Many thanks from the new Mr and Mrs Jones. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would do. Nothing is too much trouble, everyone has a positive attitude and happy faces and treat the guests with the utmost respect. Olivia is an absolute gem, and what a godsend on the day. She's an absolute credit and very professional. The venue and grounds were superb, the food was amazing and the whole day itself was the best ever. I can't sing their praises enough. It should be compulsory to have your wedding here!!! Our wedding day was 21st May, 2016.

My son and his now wife had their wedding here on 25/3/16. I cannot praise the staff at Sparth House enough. From going to view the venue some months before right up to the end of the wedding day they could not have been more helpful. The whole day was wonderful, the food lovely and luckily the sun was shining for us. I would highly recommend Sparth House to any new bride and groom.
