My journey to become a wedding florist began as far back as I can remember. I recall the joy I had from stems of tulips displayed by my bedside, cut from the spring garden at my childhood home in Peterborough. While other kids couldn’t wait to get out on their bikes, my summer highlight was planting marigolds in the flower borders with my parents.

Following a 20-year career in media where I worked for the likes of Practical Gardening magazine and Garden News, I completed a course in Garden Design with the RHS, always finding myself surrounded by plants and flowers. But it’s wedding floristry that is my greatest love. Largely self-taught and with a natural eye for floral design, my style is a step away from traditional floristry.

Loose,natural and wild abandon are more my thing – very much a just-picked- from-the-garden vibe, which harks back to my green-fingered roots. My rambling, fluid designs are as heavy on the trailing foliage as they are flowers, taking on an asymmetrical form for a much more relaxed and laid-back feel. A perfect match for cool couples looking for wedding flowers that are a little more off-beat but with bags of style!

Our floral design service includes a free personal consultation at our design studio in Peterborough where we’ll discuss your plans in detail, and excite and inspire you with beautiful, chic and stylish ideas. This first chat will help us tailor a bespoke wedding flower plan that is a reflection of your personalities and fits with your budget. Whether you’re getting married at a small and intimate city venue, lavish formal country house or rustic barn, our floral designs are always perfectly in tune with their surroundings.
