Flourgirl Cakes

Officially established in 2012 Flourgirl Cakes is a realisation of a long-term dream for avid baker and decorator Julie Towner. Based in Loughton, Essex, Julie provides cakes for customers in the Essex and London areas, and occasionally in her native Scotland.

Self taught, Julie has enjoyed baking for family and friends for over 10 years, starting off as a hobby whilst awaiting a work visa in New York. When returning to work in Recruitment Advertising, she frequently tested her baking skills on her willing co-workers.

Cake design has now become a great passion. Naturally artistic, Julie has found that designing cakes for clients is as much of a joy as making them: providing a centre-piece for weddings or celebrations is truly an honour and a joy.
