About the Business

Having both studied photography separately for over 5 years achieving degree level qualifications, we have both worked in many different areas of photography. We met in 1999 while working as still life photographers at Christie's auctioneers in London. We fell into wedding photography after close friends started to ask us to do the pictures for their weddings. We loved working together and always had a lot of fun taking the pictures. In 2004 we decided to bring our photographic skills and sense of fun together to set up 'ido weddings'.

The photography we do could be described as documentary, reportage or lifestyle photography. We like to capture natural situations and join in the special day. We like to create a fun and relaxed environment and having two photographers gives us the opportunity to cover all the angles of your wedding. Whether it is the first kiss as man and wife or your family group shots, we like to capture strong, memorable images of your wedding day.
