About the Business

My name's Dave Draffan and along with colleague Paul I run Lakeland Wedding Video. We are passionate about producing wedding films which scream out quality and originality. Our work is constantly evolving, we listen to your idea's and want you to be involved. By doing so we raise the bar so we can exceed your expectations which is always our goal. We always film in High Definition but offer you the choice to receive your completed wedding film as a standard definition DVD or a high definition Blu-ray disc depending on your preference. We mainly film in a observational and unobtrusive style. What kit do you use? Our main cameras are Sony Z5E's and Canon 5D MKIII's which film in High Definition at 1920 x 1080pixels. We also use a range of audio recording equipment including on-camera, shotgun and wireless lapel microphones depending on the situation. We seldom use direct lighting as we feel this produces a harsh and obtrusive effect, much preferring to use natural light whenever possible.
